I have been playing electric guitar for a little over a year after being into acoustic guitar for about 13 years on and off.

While shopping for electric guitar amps, I came across Guitar World’s demo video of the Engl Powerball amp (featured on our home page). I was blown away. I had never heard such crystal clear cleans from an amp before and was immediately intrigued. I was also impressed by the variety of tones out of each channel of the amp. The hi gain on this amp is wicked!

After looking around on the Internet for more information about the Engl Powerball, I came across some good owner reviews but there wasn’t any one site that just focused on the Powerball. So I said, “What the heck?” and decided to create a site that gathered the best info I could find in one place, and this site was the result.
